Rejuran Injection (Rejuran Healer)

Rejuran is a Korean skin booster that injects purified salmon DNA fragments (PN) into the dermis to help skin repair itself. It is not a filler: the goal is smoother texture, softer fine lines and firmer skin, built up over a course of sessions.

What results can you expect from Rejuran?

Patients usually describe their skin as smoother, softer and with more of a glow. Changes build gradually: one session can make skin feel more hydrated, but texture and firmness improve more clearly over the first course.

How it works:

1. Injection: tiny amounts are placed in the upper dermis, densely across the face.
2. Signal: as PN breaks down, it acts on fibroblasts (through the adenosine A2A receptor), which is thought to support collagen production and calm inflammation.
3. Repair: the skin's support structure fills in little by little over several weeks.

Much of this mechanism comes from cell and animal studies, so the honest way to think about Rejuran is "a treatment that helps skin recover", not a dramatic transformation. In a Korean randomized trial around the eyes, PN injections performed about as well as hyaluronic acid injections overall and improved roughness and pores more.

How many sessions, and how far apart?

Getting Rejuran in Korea: planning your trip

Because sessions are spaced at least three to four weeks apart, a short trip usually fits one session. Common ways to plan it:

• One session per visit: come back three to four weeks later, or on your next trip.
• Book it early in your stay: bumps usually settle in about a day, but bruises can last longer, so avoid the day before photos, events or your flight home.
• Combine with lifting: if you are also getting Ultherapy, Shurink or a laser, Rejuran is done last on the same day.

Does Rejuran hurt?

Yes, more than most skin boosters. Thin areas such as the forehead and around the eyes and mouth are the most sensitive.

• Numbing cream: applied for 40–60 minutes before starting
• Injector device: a machine designed to make the injections less painful
• Sedation: an option for patients who are very anxious about pain

Downtime, side effects and makeup

Rarely, infection, firm nodules or allergic reactions can occur. Every treatment has some risk, so tell the clinic straight away if swelling or pain lasts.

Rejuran, Rejuran Eye or Rejuran S?

Rejuran Eye's volume effect is temporary. If the under-eye area looks hollow from lost volume, a volume treatment is usually the better fit.

How much does Rejuran cost in Korea?

Prices vary between clinics because the conditions vary. Compare these on the same basis:

1. How many cc are used (full face or a smaller area)
2. Whether a sealed, genuine product is opened in front of you
3. Whether numbing and soothing care are included
4. For event prices, conditions such as first visit only or session limits
